(missing) . . . Mrs. Ella Watts, wife of Samuel Watts, died Oct. 22, 1905, at her home near this place, aged 70. She as one of our oldest citizens and a good christian woman. Much sympathy is expressed for her companion who is quite aged and will be very lonely. The two were all that were left in the home, as the children were all grown and have homes of their own. Yet he may be comforted with the knowledge that she was spared to him a long time and that if husband and children will only be faithful, it will be but a short time until they meet in the great beyond, where parting is no more. Her funeral was preached at the M.E. church at Pittsburg, Oct. 23, at 2 p.m., Rev. Good in charge of services, assisted by Rev. Carson. The burial was in the Pittsburg cemetery.
