It is with regret we chronicle the death of Mrs. John Skinner, Oct. 11, at the home of her daughter Mrs. Harry Skinner in California. She suffered a paralytic stroke some time ago, but recovered from it sufficiently to sit in her chair and be moved. The evening she died she was sitting in her chair and remarked that she "felt so faint," and expired in a few moments. She was 89 years old last June. She is the mother of D. Skinner of Winterset, and Mrs. Harry Skinner, late of Stockport, where she had her home for a number of years. . .
