Death of S.A. Kerr

Word was received Monday noon, by relatives at Douds, of the death of S.A. Kerr, of Coffeyville, Kansas.

Samuel Akers Kerr was born in Pittsburg precinct, Van Buren township about sevent-two(err) years ago and lived on the same farm or near it until about thirty years ago when he moved with his family to southern Missouri and soon after to Coffeyville, Kansas, where they have since resided.

He was married to Miss Belle Mounce in 1892, who with their three children, Hollis, Harold and Dorris, now Mrs. N.T. Walborn, remain to mourn his death.

He is also survived by one half brother and sister, James Kerr of Pittsburg precinct and Mrs. Robert Kerr of Douds.
