Mrs. Pearl Brewster, 79, Fairfield, died Thursday, June 23 at the Jefferson County hospital. She had been in poor health for the past year.

Mrs. Brewster was born in Ohio the daughter of Jacob and Mary Starr. The family moved to Iowa when she was a young girl. She was married to Arthur Brewster at Keosauqua who passed away about ten years ago.

Her husband was a former rural mail carrier and they moved to Fairfield after his retirement from service. They had no children.

Mrs. Brewster is survived by a brother, Neil Starr, Detroit, Mich.; two sisters, Mrs. Bert Roberts, Eldon and Mrs. Jewel Shepherd, Great Falls, Montana.

Six brothers and sisters preceded her in death.
