Mrs. Clyde Bennett

Dora Easter Holmes was born June 8, 1890, in Clark county, Mo., and died Nov. 3, 1917, in Washington county, Kansas, aged 27 years, 4 months and 26 days.

She moved to Vernon, Van Buren county, Iowa, when but a small child, with her parents. Was married to Clyde Bennett, Aug. 17, 1903. They moved to Washington county, Kansas, in the spring of 1910. To this union were born six children, 2 girls and 4 boys, all living except one, Dorothy, who died May 8, 1911.

She died of bronchial pneumonia, was sick just a few days. She was converted to the Lord in 1911, and was a true Christian, a member of the Friends church. She was loved by all who knew her.

Funeral services were held at Morrowville, Kansas, Monday, Nov. 5, and she was laid at rest beside her daughter, Dorothy, in the Morrowville cemetery.
