BERNARD BELL

Bernard J. Bell, 49, of Farmington, died at 5 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 23, 1995, at University Hospitals in Iowa City.

Born Dec. 13, 1946, in Fort Madison, he was the son of James and Frances Cecil Bell.

Mr. Bell lived in Farmington all his life. He had been the owner of Farmington Feed Service until failing health caused him to see his business, where he remained employed until his death.

He was a member of the Farmington Town Council and an Emergeny Medical Technician with the Farmington Fire Department. He was a member of Farmington Rod and Gun Club.

He is survived by his father, of Farmington.

He is preceded in death by his mother.

The funeral for Mr. Bell was held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 26, 1995 at Hofbauer Funeral Home, Farmington, the Rev. Robert Hambright officiating. Burial was in Greenglade Cemetery in Farmington.

A memorial has been established for the Farmington EMT’s.
