Dr. John Stoddard.

News was received Monday of the death of Dr. John Stoddard at Silver Creek, Neb. Dr. Stoddard was a brother of Mrs. E.L. McCoid of Keosauqua. He at one time lived here some time with his grand mother Mrs. Knapp and attended school. He was well known among the younger people here and had many friends. He afterwards graduated in the medical department of the University of Michigan, and then after considerable hospital practice located at Silver Creek. He was born at Little Rock, Ark. In 1877, but most of his life was spent with his parents at Council Bluffs. Mrs. McCoid departed yesterday morning for Council Bluffs, where the funeral will held. Dr. Stoddard had bright prospects before him professionally and was popular socially.
