Mrs. Lena Stewart Dies in St. Louis

Former Keosauqua Resident Is Survived by Daughter, Sister, Nieces and Nephews.

Mrs. Lena Stewart, daughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. Henry Strickling of Keosauqua, died in St. Louis, Mo., Sunday. She born in Keosauqua November 25, 1866. Her husband, Edwin R. Stewart, died December 26, 1938.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Grace Ann Rucker of St. Louis, Mo., and one sister, Mrs. June Ream of Portlanc, Oreg., and a number of nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Stewart was a sister of the late Mrs. James C. Overman and Joseph C. Stickling of Keosauqua.

Funeral services and burial were at St. Louis.

Lena Strickling, daughter of Dr. Henry and Sarah Ann Strickling, was born Nov. 25, 1866, in Keosauqua, Iowa, and died in St. Louis, Mo., Sunday, Sept. 21, 1941.

She was united in marriage with Edwin R. Stewart who passed away Dec. 22, 1938.

She was a sister of the late Mrs. James M. Overman and Joseph C. Strickling of Keosauqua, and is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Grace Ann Rucker of St. Louis, and one sister, Mrs. June Ream of Portland, Oregon, also nieces and nephews.
