Mary Lesley Story, daughter of E. W. and Edna Story, was born April 10, 1909, and departed this life Nov. 5, 1919 at the age of 10 years, 6 months and 16 days, her last illness having lasted only a few days. Besides the father and mother, one brother, a host of relatives and friends are left to mourn their loss.

“Beyond the doubts and hopes and fears,
Beyond the cares and joys and tears,
Beyond the smiling and the weeping,
Beyond the waking and the sleeping,
Our loved one rests in slumber deep.
In silent and eternal sleep.”

Funeral services were held at the home on Thursday afternoon, sermon by Rev. Coppoc, and interment in the Bonaparte cemetery.
