Death Comes To Mrs. Sophie Ovrom

Born in Norway, Came to America When 21; Survived by 2 Sons and 1 Daughter.

Mrs. Sophie Ovrom, 87, died at 4:40 o'clock Friday morning, December 10, at the home of her son, F.E. Ovrom, in Keosauqua. She had been seriously ill only a short time. About five months ago she came to Keosauqua to make her home.

Born in Norway, Mrs. Ovrom came to the United States when she was 21 years old and made her home at Waupaca, Wisconsin, where she resided 66 years prior to coming to Keosauqua.

Surviving are three sons, Arthur Ovrom of St. Paul, Minnesota, Fred E. Ovrom of Keosauqua and Paul Ovrom of Waupaca, Wisconsin, and one daughter, Mrs. Clara Chruchill of Marion, Wisconsin.

The body is being sent to her home town of Waupaca, for funeral services and burial.
