BIRMINGHAM - Funeral services for Dick W. Johnston will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Burch Funeral Home in Birmingham with the Rev. David Kennedy officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
Johnston, 58, died unexpectedly Thursday evening at his home east of Birmingham.
Johnston was born Sept. 19, 1916, near Birmingham, the son of Wade and Myrtle Helfenstine Johnston. He is survived by his mother with whom he made his home. He is also survived by a number of aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his father June 18, 1972.
