Mrs. W.C. Hendricks, 81, 204 E. Adams, died at 7:20 a.m. today at the Jefferson County Hospital where she had been a patient the past three weeks.
Last rites will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Weston Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry D. Yancey officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery in Birmingham.
Mary Grace Hendricks was born Dec. 13, 1892 at Morning Sun. She was a daughter of James and Rebecca Peel McCaw. Her marriage to W.C. Hendricks took place Dec. 13, 1909. He died Aug. 11, 1970.
Mrs. Hendricks spent most of her life in the Fairfield Community and was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Robert Smith, Birmingham; Mrs. Verne Hix, Overland Park, KIan.; and Mrs. Dale Hoffman, Keosauqua; four sons, Dale, Fairfield; Wayne, Buffalo, Mo.; Rex, now in Germany; and Billie, Davenport; also 21 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Mrs. Hendricks was preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers.
