DIED: - Of membranouos croup, January 18, 1885, near Aullville, Mo., Jessie, youngest daughter of G. and L. Anson, aged two years and eight months.

Until about a year ago the parents resided near Keosauqua and the little one will be remembered as a lovely child.

Dearest Jessie, thou hast left us,
Here thy loss we deeply feel,
But it's God who has bereft us,
He can all our sorrows heal.
