FRANK BEER.
Frank Beer, a respected citizen and son of Mr. and Mrs. J.M. Beer, was born at the parental home about two miles below Keosauqua, Iowa, Oct. 27, 1859, and died Nov. 21, 1901, aged 42 years and 24 days. This county had always been his home. December 2, 1891, he was married to Miss Flora Holiday. To them were born two boys, who, with the wife, and mother, also the father of the deceased, three brothers, Charles, Harry and Walter and a sister, Mrs. Carrie Bell, survive to mourn for the departed. In 1888 he united with the Christian church at this place and remained a faithful member as long as he had the power of mind and body to attend. For several years preceding his death he was in feeble health, growing gradually worse until death released him of his sufferings. He was a member of the I.O.O.F. and was buried in the honors of that organization. The funeral was held at the residence Saturday last, Eld. Geo. A. Hendrickson preaching the sermon. The interment was in the Fellows' cemetery.
