Harry McLeland, 74, Stockport, died Friday afternoon, Sept. 8 at Jefferson Square Manor in Ottumwa.

He was born Aug. 15, 1893, at Cantril, to William and Isabel Teeter (Teter) McLeland. On Feb. 18, 1920 he married Blanche Gaffney in Bloomfield. She survives.

Also surviving are three sons, Wayne, of Houston, Texas; Ronald of Lebanon, Ohio; and Carroll of Des Moines; one brother, Ray, of Memphis, Mo.; and five grandchildren.

He was a veteran of World War I and a member of the Milton Methodist Church.

Funeral services were held Monday, at 2 p.m. at the Stockport Methodist Church with the Rev. Chester Werft and the Rev. Ora Reep officiating. Burial and military rites conducted by the Stockport American Legion were at Spencer Cemetery near Stockport. The Burch Funeral Home, Birmingham, was in charge of arrangements.
