MRS. J.C. FORBES

Ellen Sargeant Forbes was born three miles southwest of Bonaparte, Iowa, Jan. 24, 1867, and passed away at Omaha, Nebr., Feb. 3rd, 1944. She leaves as survivors, her husband, J.C. Forbes, to whom she had been married 53 years; a son, Ross S. Forbes of Omaha, Nebr.; a daughter, Mrs. Karl S. Warner of Denver; a granddaughter, Marcia Eleanor Warner of Denver; also a twin brother, Melvin Sargeant of Farmington, Iowa, and Mrs. Cornelia Wilson of Lacon, Ill.

She was a member of the Presbyterian church for many years. Mrs. Forbes took great pride in her home and the comfort and welfare of her family was always uppermost in her mind. She was always ready with her sympathy and material aid to any one in distress. Her passing, after months of suffering has left an aching void, but her kindly ministrations has left a sweet memory in the hearts of her relatives and friends that will endure as long as they shall live. She was laid to rest in the Forest Lawn cemetery in Omaha.
