REVEDA E. FOTSCH

Reveda Evelyn Fotsch, eldest daughter of Paul and Agnes Fotsch, was born in Ames, Iowa, May 27, 1922, and passed away at the Sacred Heart hospital, Ft. Madison, Iowa, at 9:30 o'clock, Saturday morning, Oct. 24, 1942, after a short illness. She has reached the age of 20 years, 4 months and 28 days. She attended the Farmington public schools and graduated with the high school class of 1939.

Early in life she professed her faith in Jesus Christ as her Saviour, and joined the Methodist church of Farmington in 1932. She attended church regularly, and was a willing worker, especially in Sabbath school, and in the young people's services. She had a loving nature, and particularly delighted in showing her love by giving surprise gifts to those about her. The sunshine of her soul will shine through the darkest days of adversity.

She leaves to mourn her passing her parents, and three sisters, Charlene, Edith Jane, and Dorothy, at home, and four brothers, La Verne of Long Beach, Calif., Robert, Wesley and Harold at home. She was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Jean.

Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at the Farmington Methodist church conducted by the pastor, Rev. J.S. Ellis, with interment in Farmington cemetery.
