**Handwritten: Rec-Rep 31 July 1941

Mrs. Walter Graham

Delphine Curley, daughter of Mary Noon Curley and John Curley, was born near Wyanette, Ill., Aug. 25, 1898, and died at her home in Bonaparte, Iowa, July 23, 1941. Had she lived until the 25th day of August, she would have been forty-three years old.

When seven years of age she moved with her parents to Clarion, Iowa, and from there I 1917 to the Hannah place in the Sharon community. She united in marriage with Walter J. Graham at Ft. Madison, Iowa, Oct. 11, 1919. To this union were born seven children, four daughters and three sons. Two sons and one daughter died in infancy. Three daughters and one son, Velda, Avis, Gerald and Mary Lou, with their father are left to mourn the untimely death of wife and mother.

Of her own family she is the first to be taken. She is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Curley; two sisters, Mrs. Ben Davis and Mrs. Harold Carlstrom all of Dexter, Minn., and three brothers, Herman Curley of Northwood, Iowa, Louis Curley of Kahoka, Mo., and Howard Curley of Dexter, Minn. Also a number of nieces and nephews and other relatives.

The Graham family lived on a farm in the Sharon community until eight years ago when they moved to a home near Bonaparte, and later, to town. Soon after her marriage, Mrs. Graham united with the Sharon Presbyterian church and January 19, 1941, transferred that membership to the Presbyterian church of Bonaparte. She was an earnest and faithful worker in the church, the Ladies Aid and Sunshine Society. She will be sadly missed in all those circles; but in her own home and family, where she found her greatest joy and comfort, her memory will be a hollowed benediction.

Funeral services were conducted Saturday afternoon at Bonaparte Presbyterian church, Gerald J. Jud, pastor officiating. Interment in Sharon cemetery.
