Henry Dauber

Funeral services for Henry Dauber, 84, were held at 2 o’clock Saturday afternoon in the Farmington Methodist church, conducted by Rev. John S. Ellis. Burial was beside his wife in the Green Glade cemetery.

For the past two years Mr. Dauber has made his home with his daughter, Mrs. Byron Cummings of Ft. Madison where he died last Thursday after an illness of about one week.

He came to Farmington about 40 years ago and for several years in partnership with the late Adam Naumann, operated a grocery store. He was a member of the I. O. O. F. lodge and was lodge secretary for 35 years.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Byron Cummings, and husband and one granddaughter, Mrs. Janice Fry of Keokuk.
