SHERMAN IRISH

Mr. Sherman Irish passed away Tuesday morning at his home in Des Moines following an illness of about a year and a half.

Mr. Irish was formerly a resident of Van Buren county, a brother of the late S.E. Irish and an uncle of Mrs. S.M. Workman of Keosauqua. His age was 76 years.

He had been actively connected with the Iowa State Traveling Men's association for nearly 50 years.

Mr. Irish thought a great deal of his old home town and county and was a frequent visitor here until he became ill.

Funeral services will be held in Des Moines Thursday afternoon.
