CHAS. S. JOHNSON

Charles S. Johnson, who has been living on a farm between New London and Mt. Union, Iowa, died Thursday at Memorial hospital in Mt. Pleasant following a stroke of a few days previous. His daughter, Mrs. Roy Estes, and her husband of Orange, Calif., and his brother, Guy Johnson of Brookpart, Minn., were at his bedside when he died. Funeral services were held Saturday at New London. He is survived by his wife, formerly Minnie Fine, and two daughters.

Mr. Johnson formerly lived on a farm adjacent to Reeds creek east of Bonaparte now owned by A.L. Heminger of Keosauqua.
