Esther E. Winnike

Esther E. Winnike, 81, of Keokuk, died Saturday, May 15, (2004)at 11:20 p.m. at Lexington Square Care Center in Keokuk.

Esther was born on June 13, 1922 in West Point, the son of Gus C. & Rozella Mudd Winnike. Esther was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in West Point.

Survivors include five sisters, Ruth Winnike of LaCrosse, Wis., Celeste Freitag of West Point; Winnie (husband Adrian) Foecke of West Point, Sister Lucille Winnike of Hiawatha and Jeanice (husband Max) Clevenger of Milton, Wis. and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant sister, and a brother.
