Mrs. Charles Finn Taken By Death

Mrs. Charles(Crete)Finn, 80, died at Memorial Hospital about 4:30 Sunday, August 22, following an illness of the past three months.

The daughter of Hardin and Mary (Kingsbury) Brewster, she was born January 24, 1885 in Van Buren county. She has resided in Mt. Pleasant since 1924. She was a member of the Oakland Mills Church, Rebekah Lodge and Royal Neighbors.

On April 12, 1911 she was married to Charles B. Finn, who survives.

Also surviving are six daughters, Mrs.Marvin (Viola) Logan of Homewood, Ill, Mrs. James (Aileen) Koprucki of Bettendorf, Mrs. Karl (Dorothy) Vickstrom of Burlington, Mrs. Dwight(Francis) Messer of Des Moines, Mrs. Carl (Crete) Miller of Ottumwa and Mrs. Winifred Watts of Mt. Pleasant; 20 grandchildren and two great grandchildren: one brother, Howard Brewster of Boulder, Colo.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m Tuesday, August 24, at the R.K. Crane Funeral Home. Rev. E.A. Mathews will officiate.

Interment will be in Center Chapel Cemetery in Van Buren county.

The family will receive friends Monday evening from 7-9 at the R.K. Crane Funeral Home.
