Mrs. Isadore Newsam.

Isadore Dawson was the daughter of Payton and Sarah Sortore Dawson. She was born January 7, 1862, near Big Mound, Lee county, Iowa. It was here in her early life that she met with an accident caused by a runaway team from which she never completely recovered and was an invalid for a number of years.

In October, 1894, she was united in marriage to Frank Newsam.

Her health always uncertain, failed rapidly the last two weeks and she passed away March 25, 1934, aged 72 years, 2 months and 18 days.

She leaves to mourn he(r) passing, two brothers, Commodore, her twin brother, and Sherman Dawson, also two sisters, Minnie B. Druce and Lucinda. Her brothers, Wesley and Linza, preceded her in death as did her sister, Eliza Kennedy.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday afternoon at Sharon, Rev. Flanagan officiating.
