Mary E. Miller

Mary E. Miller, daughter of James A. and Catherine Kinnison Miller was born June 14, 1868 in Harrisburg Township, Van Buren County, Iowa and departed this life May 6, 1936 at Mt. Pleasant, Iowa at the age of 67 years, 10 months and 22 days.

She grew to womanhood near the place of her birth and was always interested in the welfare of the church, uniting with the Harrisburg Baptist church early in her life.

Mary was of a kind disposition, every ready to help in time of need.

Those left to mourn her passing are two sisters, Mrs. Rebecca Logan of Hillsboro; and Mrs. Edna Miller of Cheyenne, Wyoming; one brother, George Miller of Stockport besides a number of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock Saturday, May 9 at the Harrisburg Baptist Church by Rev. Robert G. Alexander. Interment was made in Vale cemetery.
