Mrs. Nellie S. Burdell

Mrs. Nellie Simons Burdell, daughter of Clark and Zena Simons, was born in Bloomfield, Iowa Oct. 1, 1866 and passed away May 14, 1936.

She was married to Frank Burdell in 1903. To this union were born four sons, Percy F., of McNary, Ariz.; Charles L. Burdell of Selma, Iowa; Raymond A. Burdell of Sturgis, S.D.; and Ora E. Burdell who preceded her in death in infancy and was laid to rest in the Passmore cemetery at Selma.

She is survived by her three sons, her mother, Mrs. Zena Simons and 2 brothers, A.E. Simons of Princeton, Mo.; and A.F. Simons of Des Moines.

Funeral services were conducted at the M.E. church in Selma Saturday, May 16 at 10 o'clock by Rev. Charles Orcutt. Burial was in the Passmore cemetery.
