Anthony Ploss

Anthony Ploss, son of John and Lena Klodt Ploss was born in Burgentriegch, Germany March 22, 1874 and passed away at his home in Selma, Iowa April 22, 1936, aged 62 years and 1 month.

He was united in marriage with Anna Elizabeth Schlotter April 28, 1909 at Eldon at St. Aloysius Catholic church.

Of his immediate family there remain besides his wife, two sisters, Mrs. Ralph McClaine of Pulaski; Mrs. Ed Thompson of Selma and one brother, John Ploss of Douds, Iowa, besides a large number of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Mrs. Charles McManus, and one brother, Harley Ploss.

He was a loving husband, a kind brother and relative, and a good neighbor and friend, and will be greatly missed.
