ALFRED ANDERSON.

Mr. Alfred Anderson was born 1836 in Langenola, Sweden, and died at his home near Willits Station, March 28, 1905. He was married to Emma Christena Peterson 1864. Seven children came to brighten their home. Four preceded him to the other world. The living are Nels, Gustava, Jennie and John Emil. He was a member of the Luthern church. He came to Keokuk in 1869, living in that place three years and moved from there to the home where he ever afterwards resided. He leaves to mourn his death a wife, three children, one grandchild and four brothers, three brothers living in Sweden and one in Kossuth county, Iowa. He was taken sick about a year ago. He was a great sufferer but he bore it all with out a murmur and was willing to be called to his rest at any time. He was a very kind and tender husband and father, and was always willing to lend a helping hand to his fellow man. Services, conducted by Rev. J.W. Carsen, were held in Story Chapel, after which the body was laid to rest in the Thompson cemetery.
