Perry Armstrong

Funeral for Perry Armstrong, aged 87, was conducted by the Rev. J.D. Stevens from the home at two o'clock Sunday. After an extended illness his death occurred Thursday morning. He was a native of Van Buren county having been born near Farmington and had always lived in the county and for the past twenty years resided in Farmington. he was one of the remaining veterans of the Civil war. Those surviving are the aged widow who has also been seriously ill and two sons, Craig of Keosauqua and Clifford of Mississippi, and several more distant relatives and a large circle of friends. Burial took place in the McDaniel cemetery north of town.
