MRS. MAUD MILLER MANNING

The funeral of Mrs. Maud Miller Manning, whose death occurred Tuesday, the 9th inst., was held from her late residence Friday afternoon at two. Although the weather was very unpropitious, the attendance was large. Both the Eastern Star and P. [?]. O. orders wre represented by large delegations of members; and the former conducted its burial ritual as a closing feature of the funeral service. A choir consisting of Messrs. Oscar McCrary, Walter Beer, Fred Wilson and W. A. Duckworth, Jr., with Mrs. Oscar McCrary as or[ganist], sang several hymns. Rev. [rest is missing]
