OBITUARY
Once more the golden bowl is broken, and the silver cord is loosed; but safe in the Father's house, in a mansion, built beautifully from holy living, the subject of our sketch has realized the blessed reward for the faithful.
Rhoda Ann, daughter of John and (Edna) Baird, was born in Des Moines township, near Keosauqua, Iowa, April 30, 1843; spending her entire life in that community, and passed peacefully away at the home of her son John Thursday, Jan. 24, 1918, having attained the age of 74 years, 8 months, and 24 days.
On Feb. 21, 1865, she was united in marriage to Chas. Hull, who preceded her in death Dec. 22, 1915. To this union three children were born, John H., George A., and Selena J. Loring, all of whom were at her bedside. Beside [sic] her immediate family left to mourn her death, she leaves 6 grandchildren, three great grandchildren, two brothers, one sister, and many other relatives and friends.
