Milton Woman Died at Her Home Last Thursday

Clara Ann Wolf was a daughter of James M. and Emma E. Wolf. She was born on Vernon Prairie, near Mt. Sterling, Iowa, January 22, 1863 and died at her home in Milton, Iowa, Feb. 25, 1943.On March 10, 1878, she was united in married to Chas. P. McIntosh, who preceded her in death June 13, 1929. To this union were born 2 children, Mrs. Ive [sic] M. Lewis of Mesa, Arizona who preceded her in death; and James L. McIntosh of near Cantril. There also remain 12 grandchildren, also her nephew D. A. McIntosh, who has made his home with her for many years.
In 1900 on moving to Milton, she became a member of the Milton Christian church, of which she was a true faithful member.
Funeral services were held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Christian church in Milton, conducted by the pastor Rev. A. M. Hadley. Letha Atkins and Tresse Price sang with Marian Marshall at the paiano. Pall bearers were Will Roby, George Abernathy, George Fellows, J.D. Price, Warren Carr, and Guy Morgan. Burial was in the Milton cemetery.
