DEATH OF MRS. GEO. R. JONES
Mrs. George R. Jones died on the evening of March 13, 1916, at her home in Burlington, Kansas. Her husband is a brother of Mrs. George W. Davidson of Keosauqua, and he and wife visited here last July. Mrs. Jones was a daughter of Anderson Langford, one of the pioneers of Des Moines township, this county. Mrs. Jones was one of a family of thirteen children, now all dead except the eldest, Turner Langford, whose home is at Jamesport, Mo. Mr. and Mrs. Jones lived at Jamesport after leaving Van Buren county, and there one or two of the children are buried, and there the body of the mother was taken for burial.
