Jessie Delah Collins.

Jessie Delah Murphy Collins was born at Bonaparte, Iowa, February 12, 1877, and died July 3, 1909, at her home in Ottumwa, Iowa, having lived 32 years, 4 months, and 21 days.

She was married to William Collins of Webster City, Iowa, June 15, 1899. She was ill several weeks and during her illness she repented and was converted and baptized by Rev. Pratt of St. Louis.

She leaves to morn [sic] their loss, a husband, mother, four sisters and two brothers; a father, two sisters, and a brother having preceded her to the other shore.

Funeral services were held at the Baptist church in Bonaparte Wednesday, July 7, at eleven o’clock. Alfred Trenerry, the pastor, presenting the sermon. The remains were laid to rest in the Bonaparte cemetery.
