Isaac F. Young

Isaac F. Young died at his home in Auburn, near Seattle, Washington, last week, his death being caused by cancer on his lip. He had been afflicted with this terrible disease for three years.

He was a son of Benjamin and Mary Young, and was born near Bonaparte, Iowa, July 11, 1843. He left Iowa in 1862, going to Illinois where he was married: they went west in 1888. His parents were early settlers in Van Buren Co., having located in 1843 on the farm now owned by Mr. Delavou. The deceased was one of eleven children of whom the following are living: C. P. Young, of Bonaparte; Benjamin Young of Carthage, Mo., Mrs. Mary Huffman of Ohio; Mrs. Almira Alexander and Mrs. Ella Armstrong of Washington. Mr. Young leaves a widow and four children.
