STOCKPORT - Mrs. Bonnie Virginia Watson, 63, died Monday at her home in Stockport by taking her own life by gunshot wound.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Dec. 12 at 2 p.m. in the Stockport Christian church with Rev. Chester Werft officiating. Friends may call at the Burch Funeral Home in Birmingham.
Mrs. Watson was born April 29, 1905 at Stockport the daughter of Frank G. and Sarah Ankron DeWitt. She was married August 22, 1922, in Fairfield to Ray R. Watson, who survives.
She also leaves one son, Theodore of Stockport; three grandchildren, two brothers, Harry DeWitt of Ottumwa and Edward DeWitt of Portland, Ore., and two sisters, Mrs. Effie White of Fairfield and Mrs. Edna Flack of Waterloo.
She was preceded by her parents, two brothers and one sister.
She was a member of the Stockport Christian Church, American Legion Auxiliary, LLG Club and Izaak Walton League auxiliary.
