ELIZABETH STEINMEYER

Elizabeth Delker Steinmeyer was born June 18, 1857, and passed away at her home three miles west of Farmington, Iowa, Saturday, October 19, 1946, at the age of 89 years, 4 months and 1 day.

On August 6, 1876, she was united in marriage to Louis H. Steinmeyer, and to this union three children were born, Chas. F., who passed away in 1933, John Edward who passed away in 1938 and one daughter, Jennie, at home. The husband and father passed away in 1928.

Mrs. Steinmeyer was a good woman, with a fine Christian spirit whose faith in God could not be shattered. She was always ready to help in sickness, a good neighbor, and always thoughtful in behalf of her home and family.

She leaves to mourn her passing, one daughter, two grandsons, five great grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews and many friends.

Funeral services were held at the home on Monday afternoon, conducted by the Rev. John W. McCallum, with burial in the Steinmeyer cemetery.
