ROBERT E. WILSON

Robert Edwin Wilson, son of Robert and Anna M. Wilson, was born in Bonaparte Aug. 22, 1879, and passed away suddenly June 26 at 9 a.m. He had been in poor health for two years and since March 15 this year had been in the Masonic sanitarium at Bettendorf where he passed away.

Mr. Wilson grew up in Bonaparte and was educated in the local school. His first employment was in the Meek clothing factory and later he was employed by the Bonaparte Record. In 1920 he went to Bushnell, Ill., where he was employed in the McDonough County Democrat until his health failed.

In December, 1910, Mr. Wilson united with Bonaparte Masonic lodge No. 73 A.F. & A.M.

Surviving is one brother, T.W. Wilson of Independence, Mo., one sister, Mrs. Frances Rinabarger of Peoria, Ill., two nephews, H.C. Page of Farmington and Donovan Rinabarger of Peoria, Ill.

The body was brought to the Page Funeral Parlor and funeral services were held in the Bonaparte Presbyterian church Sunday at 2:30 p.m. conducted by the Rev. Gerald Jude. Members of the Bonaparte Masonic lodge were pallbearers. Burial was in Bonaparte cemetery.

Those who came from a distance to attend the services were Mrs. Frances Rinabarger, Mr. and Mrs. Don Rinabarger and Mrs. Alice Catcott Bohanan of Peoria, Ill., and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Kraushaar and Azem Neuwanger of Keokuk.
