LAURA LAVETA WILSON

Laura Laveta Wilson, daughter of James A. and Emma Weekly, was born July 4, 1893 in the home near Farmington where she passed away Jan. 20, 1954, at the age of 60 years, 7 months, and 16 days. She had been in ill health a long time.

On Jan. 5, 1922, she was united in marriage with Frank E. Wilson. To this union was born one son, Marvin James Wilson.

Left to mourn their loss, are her husband, her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Wilson, of Chickasaw, Okla., a half sister, Mrs. Ida Gray of Farmington, a number of nieces and nephews, and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a half-brother.

She was always willing to help those in need, and her kindness and thoughtfulness of others endeared her to relatives and friends alike.

Funeral service was held from the Farmington Methodist Church Saturday, Jan. 23, with the Rev. Donald Arthur officiatin. Interment was in Greenglade cemetery. Music was furnished by Mr. and Mrs. Keith Gaston. Bearers were V.C. Therme, Clyde Boyer, Jay Hassler, Stanley Sawdon, Tommy Rider and Francis Longanecker.
