CHARLES C. ROTH

Charles C. Roth, son of John and Mina Nautbaum Roth, was born the 13th day of June, in the year 1880. He passed away at his home in Farmington, Iowa Oct. 2, at the age of 73 years, 3 months and 18 days.

He was born on the John Roth farm now owned by Kenneth Moore. He was confirmed in the Evangelical Reformed Church in Primrose, and later became a member. After leaving that vicinity he attended other churches when his health permitted.

He married Laura Kelly, March 7, 1903, and to this union there were no children.

He leaves to mourn, his wife; three brothers, George of Tyrone, Okla., Henry, of Farmington, Iowa, and Julian, of Fairfield, Iowa; two sisters, Mathilda McGreevy of Troy, and Emma Snider of Donnellson; twenty-five nieces and nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.

His father, mother, four sisters and one brother preceded him in death.

He was a man well liked by everyone who knew him and was very fond of children.

Funeral services were held from the First Baptist Church Sunday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock with the Rev. Harry McKinney officiating. Interment was made in Greenglade Cemetery.
