Mrs. Isabel Norris, 79, died at 1 a.m. Sunday morning at the home of her son, Clayton Norris, 222 North Sixth st., where she had lived for the past 16 years.

Mrs. Norris had been an invalid for 16 years and had been bedfast the last six months.

Isabel Platt was born May 18, 1856, in the Plainfield vicinity and was married to Henry Norris Dec. 30, 1875. Eleven children were born to them, two of whom preceded her in death.

The nine surviving children are Jay of Medina, Mrs. O. D. McCullough of Coshocton, Flay of Coshocton, Mrs. Martin Reed of Coshocton, Thomas of Tyndal, Mrs. Floyd Johnson of Coshocton, Clayton of Coshocton, Ott of Conesville and Clarence of Coshocton.

Eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren also survive. Mrs. Norris was a lifelong member of the Baptist church and its missionary society.

Funeral services will be held at the Pleasant Hill Baptist church at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, in charge of Rev. J. O. White. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill cemetery.
