Mrs. Geo. Newman Died At Aberdeen, Washington

Word was received Wednesday of the death of Mrs. Geo. Newman, age 71, at her home in Aberdeen, Washington, Tuesday, June 7. Her death was caused by a heart attack.

Ada Edith French was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charlie French, a substantial farmer near Acasto, Mo. She was born at Acasto and was married there to George Newman, May 7, 1890. She has lived in Aberdeen, Wash., twenty-seven years. She was an active member of the Aberdeen Methodist church, and the Royal Neighbors in which order she held office for many years. She was also a member of the Yeoman lodge.

Besides her husband she is survived by a son, Charlie and a daughter, Mrs. Edith Schmidt, both of Aberdeen, Wash., a sister, Mrs. Alice Dietrick, Chicago, seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
