OLLIE TUCKER MORRIS

Ollie J. Tucker Morris was born in Lee County, Iowa, on July 17, 1872 and bade farewell to her earthly abode on Wednesday, November 24 following an extended period of illness.

Her parents were Grandison and Surilda Tucker. She graduated from the Farmington High School in the year of 1896. She continued her education by attending Highland Park College and graduated from the college in the fall of 1911. Mrs. Morris was a well known teacher and taught public school for many years.

She married Miller Morris on May 11, 1921. She was a member of the Baptist Church of Croton, Iowa.

Mrs. Morris was preceded in death by her father, mother and three brothers and one sister. She has been well respected and love by those who knew her.

Funeral services were conducted Saturday afternoon at the Methodist Church by the Rev. John McCallum. Interment at the Croton Cemetery.
