Anna Belle Masmar

Anna Belle Masmar, 84, of Donnellson, a former Farmington resident, passed away Sunday, Jan. 4, at 8:45 a.m. at the home of her niece, Mrs. Guy Harris, Sr., in Donnellson. She had been in failing health for some time but her death was unexpected.

She was born February 6, 1874 in Williamstown, Mo., the daughter of John W. and Sarah E. May Masmar. She lived in Farmington most of her life, except the last two years she spent with her niece in Donnellson.

For many years she operated a dry cleaning and pressing plant in Farmington. She never married. She was a member of the Baptist church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and two sisters. Surviving are one niece, Mrs. Harris, and four nephews.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, Jan. 6 at 2:00 p.m. from the Baptist church in Farmington with the Rev. Gordon L. Shipp officiating. Burial was in Farmington cemetery.
