Olive Muntz

Olive Muntz, Farmington Rt. 2, passed away Monday, August 4, at 6:30 p.m., at Sacred Heart hospital, Fort Madison. She was 66 years, 11 months and 29 days old, born August 5, 1891 at Farmington, the daughter of Richard and Sarah Weiher Watts. She was a lifelong resident of the Farmington community.

On June 16, 1912, in Farmington, she was married to Earl O. Muntz, who survives, as do two sons, Melvin of Fort Madison and Vernon, Burlington; three daughters, Mrs. Larry (Pauline) Varner of Donnellson, Aevella Muntz at home and Mrs. Sterling (Maxine) Kerr of Wilmington, Ill.; one brother, Alden Watts, Bonaparte and seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother, Elmer Watts.

Funeral services will be held from the First Baptist Church, Farmington at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, August 7, with Rev. John Salzman officiating. Burial will be in Thompson cemetery.
