Frank P. Greenleaf

Frank P. Greenleaf, 91, longtime resident of route 2, Farmington, died Saturday, Jan 22, in Sacred Heart hospital in Ft. Madison, after two weeks illness of influenza,

He was a native o0f Keosauqua, where he was born Sept. 10, 1852, and had been a resident of Van Buren county practically all his life. He was a farmer. He was married in 1875 to Mary Frances McWhorter at Anson, Mo.

Mr. Green leaf was a member of the Congregational church of Anson, Mo., and served as clerk of the school district for 50 years, and as Justice of the Peace for 35 years.

Survivors include two sons, Bradford and Dee Greenleaf, both of near Farmington; two brothers, W. H. Greenleaf, Glendale, Calif., and T. A. Greenleaf, San Luis Obispo, Calif., two grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Funeral services and burial were held at Anson Monday afternoon.
