Anna G. Trout Dies In Hospital

Rites Held Monday at Douds;
Survivors Include Son, Daughter, and 6 Grandchildren

Mrs. Anna G. Trout, 75, died at 6 o’clock Saturday morning at the St. Joseph hospital in Ottumwa after several weeks illness. She had lived alone on a farm north of Douds.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Nelda Sargeant of Douds; a son, Malcom Trout of East Lansing, Mich., and six grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon from the Pedrick funeral home in Douds in charge of Rev. E. K. Parrott. Music was by C. E. Nicklin and Earl Chader, accompanied by Mrs. Van Greene at the piano. Pallbearers were Roy Greenfield, Van Greene, Dale Morrow, Dean Dooley, Dave Laughlin and Charles Arnold. Interment was at the Mt. Moriah cemetery north of Douds.
