CECIL B. SHAMPONOL

FAIRFIELD – Cecil B. Shamponol, 48, died suddenly Saturday at 4 p.m. of a cerebral hemorrhage at his home near Olin, Iowa. The body was brought to the Behner funeral home here and this afternoon was taken to Mt. Hamil where the services will be held at Clay Grove church at 2 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Clay Grove cemetery.

Mr. Shamponol was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Shamponol and was born July 9, 1898 and reared in Mt. Hamil. He was a former resident of Bonaparte and Batavia and for the past five years had been employed near Olin.

He was preceded in death by his mother. Surviving are his father and five sisters, Mrs. Manley Pratt of Batavia, Mrs. Goldie Randolph of Ft. Madison, Miss Mary of Mt. Hamil, Mrs. Sam Dick of Hillsboro and Mrs. Myrtle Irvin of Los Angeles.
