Mrs. E.M. Haughkirk Succumbs At Douds

Former Marshalltown Resident, 44, Is Survived by Husband, 2 Sons and Brother.

Mrs. Earl M. Haughkirk died at her home southwest of Douds at 1 o'clock Tuesday afternoon. She was 44 years old. The family moved to the Douds community from Marshalltown about a year ago.

Surviving are her husband; a son, Henry DeLong of Keosauqua; a stepson, Robert Haughkirk at home, and a brother, Arthur Brown of Phoenix, Ariz.

Funeral services will be held at 8 o'clock this morning at the Pedrick funeral home at Douds, and a graveside service will be held in Riverside cemetery at Marshalltown at 3 o'clock this afternoon.
