LEON L. HINKLEY.

Leon L. Hinkley, former resident of Eldon, died at his home in St. Petersburg, Fla., November 13.

The son of Wayland White and Jane Hinkley, he ws in the lumber business with his brother-in-law, Henry E. Ritz, in Eldon for many years prior to their retirement in 1943.

Mr. Hinkley is survived by his wife, Mrs. Doris H. Bessey Hinkley whom he was married in April 1948; and his sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Henry E. Ritz, of St. Petersburg.

The body is at the Jay funeral home in Ottumwa where it will remain until 10 a.m. Friday. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 in the Eldon cemetery in charge of the Rev. Leslie Wilson, rector of St. Andrews Episcopal church in Chariton.
